BunterKaffe is back with discussion about Women Around the World (WAW). This time we will visit Brazil, the world’s fifth biggest country well known from its raising economy, beautiful beaches and football. Today, a woman is leading the country as president and recognize as one of the most powerful women in the word. However, is the development of the country also brings a virtuous change for women in Brazil? Let’s find out about this in a discussion with a cup of coffee and a cozy atmosphere with our guest Priscila Berger. She is a Master student from Brazil who will share her story about women in her country. Her point of view will be interesting regarding her experiences as Brazilian woman who has been living and working in several countries.
BunterKaffee (AG Diversity) is a working group under StuRa at TU Ilmenau. Through the discussion, we would like to bring the opportunity to meet and discuss with women from all over the world and share first-hand information about how they feel, think and hope. This initiative aims to enhance our knowledge on women issues in different social, cultural and political conditions. Furthermore, we also hope to tap consciousness in supporting a better living condition for women all over the world.
The presentation and discussion will be held in English. We’re looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday, 12th November 2013, starting at 17.30 – 19.00 at bc-Café. Everyone is welcome!! Let’s discuss and have a relaxing afternoon with a cup of coffee and cookies for free!!!
